How Can We Restore Civil Liberties? Impeach? 2007-10

In this issue, which focuses largely on the parallels between the US wars in Iraq and Vietnam, one of the questions raised is what are the parallels between President Nixon and Bush. We excerpted Barbara Jordan's 1974 argument for the importance of impeachment to check Presidential power, and Rocky Anderson's argument for the importance of impeaching President Bush.
